A Simple Proposal That Will Never Happen

How about a vote by only women on abortion? After all they know best for themselves, not men.

It’s ridiculous to see older men and women beyond childbearing age arguing that women shouldn’t be allowed to decide what happens to their own bodies. They have no horse in the race but gloat in their power over others. Life is a political football for Republicans, especially Catholic and white evangelicals.

My proposal would simply be a 50 state vote by women on the abortion issue. Keep men out of the poll on this volatile women’s rights issue, and stop the Supreme Court from interfering.
