Dear 💙Notes Subscribers: I’m Happy You’re Choosing Democracy!

I haven’t thanked Subscribers in a while. Thank you for subscribing instead of following me like a troll! Yes, this Substack is free, but it’s a safe space for pro-Democracy sane people!

I left Facebook for many reasons, but one of the major reasons was that fake people asked to be friends. I prefer to select friends. It’s rather invasive, don’t you think? It’s tedious to constantly monitor and curate your feed whether it’s Facebook or Substack.

Here’s what I want you to know: you and your safety are important to me. I will block nasty, mean-spirited political rants as well as fake bots and plain old trolls on your behalf. I beg you to do likewise for me. We are in this fight for Democracy together as Joyce Vance says daily. It’s true. We need safe places to survive the right-wing Republican-Trump-Maga’s slings and arrows. Let us shield one another. We will prevail in November.
