Happy Merry Month of May!
Today I want to encourage you to take a break from politics, SCOTUS, and big T. Go back to when you were younger and fell in love, sang along during musicals, and escaped into fantasy.
Camelot! Camelot! If ever we need myths and romantic myths, it’s 2024. Share your favorite fantasy movies and stories with anyone willing to watch or read them. This is better than booze or drugs for mini-escapes from harsh realities.
I picked Camelot only because it’s May, but I can escape into any good classic film with a plot. Too many movies today are all about special effects and violence. It’s overkill (literally)!
Out of Africa is my husband's and my favorite weep-fest.
Just wrote poem about television for micro dose by Miguel S substack. Hope you’ll look at it. Watched Irma LaDouce with Shirley Mclaine and Jack Lemmon 1963.
