Help Block Anti-Democracy Trolls
When a Republican troll Substacker only reads and attacks my two top experts, he is outing himself by his own words.
Today, I opened Substack to read Joyce Vance and Heather Cox Richardson with my coffee as always. I received a “snarky” notification from an unknown person hidden under “Stay Strong USA”. I did not reply, but I reported him. When I checked the profile, it was obvious he reads only the two above so he can disparage them. I reported every disparaging comment because it matters.
Here is the text taken from the screenshot. I did not want to give him oxygen by sharing it and playing into his hands. These Trump fans want oxygen and engagement. The below was attacking my re-stacking of Joyce yesterday.

“Stay Strong USA
not sure I’d agree with that Diane.
More like Joyce uses her decades of legal expertise/experience as a tool/weapon to help media and the left destroy Donald Trump.
And yes “destroy” is the right word, they don’t want to just make the leading candidate in either party for 2024 election ineligible. They want to rob him of the riches he earned in his life. Put him in jail for the rest of his life. And make him ineligible to be President despite all polls on left/right indicating our country prefers/wants him.
It is despicable and unamerican what is happening to him. And unfortunately, Joyce is using her substack and legal expertise/experience to parse thru everything in media and cherry pick all that helps her and the left’s agenda (and ignore all else) and spoon feed it for her echo chamber.
There… that’s a little more accurate.”

I want you dear subscribers to be aware that we are beginning to see the extreme right on Substack trying to bash decent pro-Democracy voters. Please do report any comments when you see them. Perhaps Substack will listen better than Facebook.i intentionally did not tag the ladies above for obvious reasons
Thank you! If this piece offends you, please unsubscribe. That’s free too!
Diane
I was wondering how long it would be before trolls invaded Substack. Now I know. They're here, full of assertions without the ability to reason. Thanks for the alert, Diane. I guess we can limit the drive-by trolling by limiting comments to subscribers. Did this troll subscribe to your Substack?
Thank you for reporting when these comments are made.
