Is It 2025 or 1984?

Many writers have written about Orwell’s classic 1984. My English teacher made it come alive, and we naive students thought it was a fantasy at first. We didn’t know enough history about fascism because teachers dwelt on early history. Perhaps they felt inadequate to teach about WWI and WWII in the 60’s…
