Simple Interview for Disqualifying Presidential Candidates (&Speakers)
What’s wrong with high bar requirements for presidential candidates? Why won’t major media reporters pin down candidates? Is it their ivory tower press training? Here’s what we should ask.
3 Rules:
One wrong sworn and witnessed answer—the interview will stop.
You cannot plead the 5th or ask for a pass one time—the interview will stop.
You must sign a witnessed statement transcript of the answers. Refusal to do this will stop the interview.
The 7 questions are easy—yes or no. No undecided answers will be accepted. No elaborate justifications are allowed. If you try to evade a direct answer, the interview will stop. You will excuse yourself and leave with no comment.
Do you believe Joe Biden was elected fairly and squarely and that he is the President of the United States?
Did you support the January 6th Committee by testifying to them against violence and bullying under oath?
Have you aided and abetted Trump, his family, or his MAGA supporters?
Did you visit Trump Tower, the Willard Hotel, or Mar-a-Lago in 2020-2023?
Will you answer questions to demonstrate your knowledge of the Constitution?
Will you uphold separation of church and state by supporting public schools only with taxpayer money?
Will you present your income taxes when asked?
The following 7 requirements are non-negotiable. One strike, you’ll never run for any government office:.
You must swear under oath televised that you never believed the 2020 election was stolen or perpetuated the Big Lie of Trump.
You must never appoint any member of your family to any government position. It’s called “NEPOTISM”!
You must never share classified information with family and friends or foreign agents. End of story. It’s called TREASON”!
You must not pardon pardon ANYONE, staff, family, felons. Turkeys may be pardoned!
You must agree to leave the office if you are voted out. Period. You may not take classified documents or presidential gifts belonging to the People.
You must not campaign all 4 years of your term of office or solicit funds via email or media.
You will not attack or slander staffers, reporters, opponents, FBI, DOJ or ANYONE publicly or on social media platforms.
(Too bad the new Speaker of the House didn’t have to answer the hard questions about his ties to Trump’s Big Lie.)
Great questions, Diane. I am sick of the good old boy's club that lets entitled white men do whatever they please - including space out in the middle of a sentence. It's time they were "tested" before they go into office.
I agree, holding candidates to a high standard is important for transparency and accountability.
