Friday Distraction from Politics: Winnie the Pooh vs. Miss Moo

My puppy Winnie met her match this morning. It was a new toy which we thought would be a winner (for us) because it’s not a squeaker. It’s a funny shaker, paper swisher cow. Our Winnie apparently was intimidated and just barked at it. I held the cow and tried to show her it was going to be our new friend. She wasn’t buying it at all!

Sometimes wee creatures save our lives and spirits. This is that time before the most important election in my life that a little female hairy puppy makes me laugh!

To look at the hairy teddy bear Winnie who can shake a squeaker toy until it’s squeaked out, she’s remains just a little timid Pooh in need of loving. Below she’s looking so sweet in my granddaughter’s arms. That she is one big cuddle puppy is no denying. That’s when she’s tired from playing! She’s the best soccer player we have ever had!

But she’s the worst cow fan at least today. We tried not to laugh at her! Really we did! Of course she climbed on my lap after the scare for cuddles galore. We will re-introduce Miss Cow next week when she’s older. She’s growing so fast she’s going to be hard to lift in a few weeks, and so we are all treasuring lap cuddles!

Winnie is totally enamored with Kamala Harris by the way. Seriously. If I watch a video like the one below, Winnie wags her tail and wants up on my lap to watch the video. She’s got good taste! Vote Blue💙
