The Day Before 2025

Is a mystery. I feel unsettled but confident that we who are fighting for America's triumph over greed, evil, indecency, and plunder of our natural resources will prevail. We must fight smart!

More Lights, More Lights, More Lights for 2025 Be One!

Dear Subscribers,

You are dear to my heart, and I have been reading so many wonderful substacks by many of you! I haven’t posted since before Christmas, but I have been involved with many projects. We have low-key holidays at our house these days with my husband’s health and my crazy new puppy who is basically a Velcro dog clinging to me every moment she’s awake.

In addition December is the month I always dread because I have 4 family members who died in December, and my healthy hearty mountain race biker cousin died last January 1 of heart failure during a race. His father (my uncle) and his three siblings have had a rough year as well as his widow. We have all been dreading January 1. The other deaths were not like my cousin’s; his was a total shock and it still reverberates in our hearts. I really have trouble saying Happy New Year, but I do wish the very best for your and your loved ones. It is all about family and love in the end after all.

I have no political comments today. All I can say is stick to the solid Substackers like Heather Cox Richardson and Joyce Vance to eliminate be inundated by too many cooks in the kitchen and backseat drivers. I have downsized by unsubscribing to all emails from Substack, but don’t be alarmed I am still subscribed on the app. I have unfollowed tons of people and vetted those I follow carefully. Several bad Republican mega players have moved from X to Substack and Blue Sky. We must help one another avoid these trollers from using our posts or stealing our stories to sling mud on their platform. Blue Sky has been very pro-active in removing accounts.

So, please take time to re-charge your batteries and select one way to fight TrumpWorld successfully. If we can do one thing times all of us, we can triumph. One thing I would like to say is that there are so many BLUE heroes fighting the good fight. Go to my profile page and check out my reading list—these are good people with good hearts. That is the good news for 2025. Imagine one blue fighter for democracy. One blue brick. Then imagine thousands of blue brick fighters across the United States. You aren’t alone!
