Time Out for Puppy Love

Waiting to meet our new puppy Winnie on September 4th does not prevent us from loving her. This shot was after she had a bath last week. What’s not to love!

For new subscribers who missed the earlier pup posts, we lost our beloved dog last month and we decided to get a puppy to fill the void. In the meantime our local deer family has been here daily to comfort us. Animals take us away from stress and politics. We need that peace!

Winnie is a miniature Berniedoodle born on July 7th. The litter had all females. I’m not sure if they’ve all been taken yet. The breeder is a wonderful lady, and we will enjoy meeting her in person on pick up day. We have been puppy proofing the house again. It’s fun to shop!

Let’s try to make it through the DNC and all of the Republican maga disinformation by finding a respite from the coming jabs at Harris and Waiz from scared Trumpian minions. Whether it’s kitties, puppies, birds, deer, or other non-talking creatures giving you peace of mind—thank them!

Thank you for supporting all pro-Democracy substacks and know that this week is a long time in coming. I’m relieved some of my favorite writers are be there to tell the truth that the media will slant. That’s why I wanted to post today—to let you know we are in this together as Joyce V says. We are making history this week, but don’t let your guard down and check your voting status!

I have a request. Find a sad Republican and sway them to vote Blue instead of insulting their intelligence. Women can win this election for Harris-Walz—so reel in all of the fence-sitters to vote 💙🇺🇸💙!
