Waiting On Accountability

Please let the jury represent the will of the American people. No hung jury, please. The prosecution has more than proved Trump is guilty on all counts. We deserve him to be held accountable.

Whether Trump goes to prison or not, he will be guilty of betraying America, but we already know his maga-Republicans will deny it. They have anointed Trump, and they see him as their champion of good (say what?) in an evil world. Really?

We the Majority in both parties know in our hearts that Trump is the cancer that has changed his followers into diseased minds full of vengeance and obscenities. We have heard words on news channels we never dreamed a politician would say in public, much less with microphones blazing and social media amplifying them. It’s been hell on decent American’s ears for nearly 10 years.

Accountability is essential for every American citizen. No exceptions. I’ve believed that my whole life, and it’s been unnerving to watch these worms like Trump wriggle off almost every hook. The E. Jean Carroll victory was a victory for every woman. I hope this jury will give the American people (minus maga-Republicans) the verdict “Guilty!” We deserve it after all the lies upon lies Trump and his enablers are still trying to propagandize to uninformed voters.

I truly believe that America’s decline in discourse and decency will be best stopped by defeating Trump and voting out ALL election deniers and obstructionists in our government. That ANY faith denomination—evangelical, Protestant or Catholic —would back Trump tells you how much he has taken religion down the tube with him.

Church attendance is down, yet people wonder why. People do not trust the people who aren’t up front about the direction of our democracy. Some church leaders have forbidden politics to be discussed. That sounds fair, but it also allows a serious loss of faith in church leaders who should be calling out lies, slander, deceit, sexual sins, treason to list a few. How can a religious leader talk about the commandments and the beatitudes on Sundays without cringing when backing defendant Trump?

How can any immigrant from any country vote for Trump? How can any black or indigenous American vote for the man who could care less about them? How can doctors, nurses, teachers, policemen, veterans, and emergency personnel vote for a man who doesn’t believe in service or life in reality? The pro-life movement has been 100% duped by Trump and maga-Republicans because he just smiled for voted. It was obvious to the rest of us.

So, as we wait for a fair and just verdict finding defendant Trump guilty, let’s just focus this week on getting the BLUE voters to the polls. Let’s vote out those election-deniers. We might have to do this for several election cycles until we have a Democratic majority in both houses. Women can win this election for Biden. They have husbands and sons too!
