Why do some humans never talk to their dogs on walks?
Dogs are social, and intelligent dogs like me expect to interact with my human 24/7. Yet, I see people on cell phones ignoring their dogs altogether. Why?
Look at me. Do I look like a dog who can’t count or listen to audio books? So, think again about ignoring your dog on a walk. Walk and talk, Humans, not on your lifeless cell phones!
Speak to us, your best friends through thick and thin. We love hearing your voice as much as we love hugs and cookies!
My Tatiana, sweetie - she wasn't really a dog - really; Tatiana just happened to look like one. A beautiful persona - staffie.
Didn't take the phone, for "screen time" but for shooting her pictures. If she wanted to pose for me. She often did and I am grateful. She had ladylike grace about her. Poise. We "talked" all the time, we were on walks, or riding public transport to go somewhere far. It was her time, her pace. I never hastened her, except when crossing a busy urban street.
Always harnessed her, never a leash around her neck. She was a glorious companion, pet, Sentient Royal. She is now a freer spirit, elsewhere in our galaxy, or in another one. Love, hugs, to all y'alls pets 🧘🫂💙🌝🌌
I never take my phone when I go for a walk with my dog. I think we already spend enough time looking at screens.
