Why Reinvent the Wheel? Oil It!
Life should be simple. Why reinvent the wheel when the old one is oiled and working darn well? I had to experiment, but soon I decided—the current Substack is “me” —and it syncs with Blue Sky🦋!
I appreciate your input when I was thinking about creating a second Substack. Was I crazy? Yes! It created anxiety that I would lose my favorite subscribers and confuse new followers on Blue Sky. Here’s the scoop, and I hope you’ll stay with me.
First, instead of using Diane K24 as my handle, it’s just going to be “Diane’s Blue Notes” on both Substack and Blue Sky. By the way, my Blue Notes were begun before Substack Notes. I hope I didn’t make the powers that be upset 😂.
Here’s a screenshot of what the handles look like—you can’t click of course on the screenshot. I’m using the same logo photo for simplicity too. Whew!😅
Meanwhile, I’m a lifelong learner on the media, literature, politics, and animals. I like the blue icon dog for obvious reasons!
For new subscribers, Winnie is almost 5 months old, weighs 24 pounds today. She’s a loving furball of action and distraction from political mayhem. She is smart, demanding of attention, and wacko when she’s not sleeping. I can only write when she naps (like now)!
In less than 5 months our daily schedule has been turned upside down by getting a new puppy. Winnie is a miniature bernedoodle who was just 7 pounds when we got her. So small! Yesterday she had her last puppy shot and is now able to go mix with other dogs and the world. She weighed in at 24 fluffy pounds!
Have a restful holiday week away from the world and be safe. Don’t let the red turkeys 🦃 get you down!
In friendship and solidarity with all of you who are doing whatever you do best to fight for a peaceful overthrow of the billionaires and fascist-maga Republican appointees not qualified to do more than have drinks with Trump at his Mar-a-Lago mafia hangout. What goes around will get around to them—let’s expedite their exile!
Nice decision, Diane! Glad to follow you on both platforms. Thanks for the updated puppy pictures. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours! <3
Thank you, Diane. I like what you have done, and that you are growing. I adore the blue puppy icon (I hesitate to use blue dog)
