Oooo! thanks, Diane! She was recently in Columbus doing a fundraiser for Senator Sherrod Brown and I had the opportunity to meet her earlier in the day at one of Brown's field offices. near my home. Just a small group of about 8 of us older women and the campaign volunteers. She was incredibly thoughtful and kind...and of course, fascinating—I have a picture with her, too! An awesome experience.

I so respect and admire Heather Cox Richardson. In fact, these days I COUNT on her.

Diane K24: Thank you so much for sharing this one-on-one with the historian, Heather Cox Richardson, who specializes in American History (circa 1850-1930) as Professor, Boston College, with her commute from her home in a Maine lobster village.

I love everything about Professor HCR, especially that she is at home in coastal Maine.

HCR's daily narrative is a real wealth of information with sound research and historical depth and makes for compelling reading.

Diane K24: You share so very richly, and I LOVE your columns, not least the ones with little Winnie, arf, arf!
