Diane’s Blue Notes is free, and it’s amazing that people care about animals, the environment, Democracy, and the people I repost daily who guide me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. 🇺🇸❤️🧢
Yes it is interesting how fellow substackers (if that is a real word) seem to share the same interests and views. You would cause a little confusion in England as blue tends to represent the colour of conservative views with red being the Labour Party supporters and the Liberal Democrats in between being orangeish! By the way I also find out about my subscribers (though I don’t have many yet). Hint: mine is also free and new subscribers always welcome. That will encourage me to post more.
My husband says that he’s never seen anyone speak without notes with such a command of history, common sense, and foresight. He has 2 history degrees and taught history until he retired. I taught English and have a history minor—Heather is an eloquent speaker because she speaks from knowledge and her heart.

The colors are confusing. I may have to rethink my substack tile: Diane’s Blue Notes. Thanks for your information, Richard!
She has lived and breathed US history for 30 years so I can understand how she speaks without notes. But she is still very impressive!
I would have loved to have her and Joyce Vance as professors!
I listened to HCR's brilliant talk at the LBJ library. Thanks!
