I think the team didn't let the real Tim go out there and filled him with facts and figures when what we needed was the guy who can deliver a line--strong and straightforward. What were they thinking in the debate prep? For folks who are not following the news the way you and I are, and don't know the facts, and, horrors, have racist tendencies to boot, Vance sounded like a reasonable guy, until the very end when he couldn't admit that Trump lost the election. The debate nearly gave me heart ache big time!
I think instead of ending with the Jan.6 thing, I would have begun on the attack and repeated at the end why no real patriot could vote for Vance who wrote the preface to Project 2025 and demeaned Haitians in Springfield.
Diane, Some of us are real readers who make it their business to read many Democratic Opinions. I normally read at least 6-7 hours a day and the responses are just as important. I also write fiction because I can. I’m actually looking forward for the election to be over because I also enjoy reading just for pleasure and I’ve had to cut back on those hours. It’s something I’ve done since I was 8-9. Both of my parents were also reading 5 books a week.

Again, I couldn’t watch so wrote postcards instead and kept up through threads. Earlier, before the debate, CNN ran a banner that someone from the Harris Walz campaign said Tim would lose! I hope that’s not true but even if it is..Tim showed him & all of us that he’s no slouch.
Vance was slicker than spit on a rail. The sleaze politician in him came out when he evaded answering whether Trump lost the 2020 election, and the dishonesty in him came out when he falsely denied that he supported, if not advocated, a national abortion ban.
If we want slime for our Vice-President, he's our man.

Sad that more adults don’t read more than headlines and magazines.
Out of 6 kids I was the only reader. Both my Adult children have a love for reading also.
Someone needs to tell JD that sounding truthful and being truthful are two different things.

I agree, L.D. He’s a wannabe swamp leader, not a defender of any policy except daddy-trump’s. Disgusting slimy guy.
