Back in the early 90's I attended a workshop for a faith-based community organization I was working for. Civil Rights Activist and author, Dorthy Cotton spoke to us. The one take away I've never forgotten and have repeated many times since was "WE are the people we are waiting for". Never are those words more PROFOUND than in this election.
The “people” May be willing to fight the good fight but what about our Democratic senators. What in hell use is dick durbin? He seems to me to be a big wimp in a party of sit on their hands wimps. I want to see the Dems fight.
