Honey and Vinegar
Two personality types. Two approaches to bring change. Which brings people onboard? Which causes bitterness and stops progress even though it cleans the slate? Can there be a balance?
We must remember words have repercussions. Do we need to think before we post more than we have since the big election disaster? May Monday bring a different more civil discourse without the drama we hated about Trump. Let the honey and vinegar be appropriate so that Democracy is the focus, not the reasons why we failed. We didn’t fail. Harris didn’t fail. The ignorance of American voters and big money triumphed. Let’s flip the switch! As Cher told Nicholas Cage in “Moonstruck”, “Snap out of it!” We must change our dialogues and get back in action. The pity parties must stop now. There’s work to do. Let’s rest and revive our energy this week. With love, Mom!

Kamala Harris is still there to lead.
We can join and financially support groups.
My thought is the most vulnerable group is immigrants, and we should join and financially support groups that support immigrant rights and welfare.
In a word: Act on our convictions.
There are 2 misapprehensions about Trump said a former prime minister of Australia. The first was he would be different in office than he was on the campaign trail. The second was the best way to deal with him was to suck up to him.
Do not suck up to him. Show him — he’s transactional — that making the almost 80 million Americans who voted for VP Harris happy will be in his interest.
Our first opportunity to demonstrate that it’s in his interest to help make us happy is to show him how many 80 million Americans show up and demonstrate in Washington DC on January 20, 2025.
