Snap out of it is ringing true for me. But there is no way I am going to tell my Black and Brown , LGBTQ and those with a uterus of childbearing age to snap out of it. Onward.

Diane K24, You are right. We have to stop our whining and focus on our families (as long as they didn’t vote for Trump!) oops, sorry. Immigrants will be in danger, people of color too, Gays, Trans people, many more. Harassment will not come directly from the oval office but from thugs on the street who look

for an excuse to fight someone they think doesn’t belong.

Sadly, likely from the Oval too. No reason to believe the leopard will change his spots, especially now.

"Snap out of it!" Yes...so many of us are gutted...it will take time to get our minds back in the game. But we have no other choice. We must! Thanks for all you continue to do Diane. 💙💙

Thanks, Susan! I’m trying to tell myself “Snap out of it!” —and it’s a work in progress. Have hope🇺🇸💙⭐️

Honey and vinegar two parts to mix to swallow soothes sore throat . Cough we may, but allows us to speak clearly and compromise in houses to get something done for everyone.

Exactly! I’m still a work in progress or recovery myself💙🇺🇸💙

Excellent post.

Many people will need help, many of them will have voted for Trump.

Most of the people who voted to leave the EU now know it was a mistake, one that cost our economy 4% of our GDP.

Some of the people who worked in our community groups helping those left behind are now Labour MPs.

People often have to learn the hard way. That’s the tragedy and the hope.

They certainly have. Including the Rust Belt states who voted for Biden in 2020 after Trump broke his promise to bring back jobs. The sad part is that Biden did help them. It was perhaps a mistake not to remind people of the successes of Biden’s legislation.

But, as you said, Harris’s campaign didn’t have any major fundamental flaws.

We’re up against a worldwide movement to the far right that is only going to make our global problems worse.

We need a way to pull it back before it’s too late.

We will have to look to Kamala’s approach for ❤️‍🩹—she’s stronger than I am. I’m glad I have some heroes to give hope! 💙🇺🇸💙

Mick, my husband, does maintenance work in a care home. During the early months of the pandemic they had a separate corridor of rooms for the residents who had Covid. Sometimes he did have to go a fix something in one of the rooms.

He was a bit embarrassed when I told him I was proud of him. He said all he cared about was not bringing the virus home.

Being a nursing home they did at least have the PPE, but with me shielding it was a worrying time.

After the vaccines and initial deaths, people just wanted to forget about it.

There are some things we should never forget. 😷👩‍🔬👩‍⚕️💙💙

When we forget danger or Trumps’s evil, it will be worse this time! All these Americans who are now saying that they didn't think it would be this bad seem to have forgotten.

The real heroes are always the people who work on the frontlines helping without expecting rewards. 💙💙💙😗

There are 2 misapprehensions about Trump said a former prime minister of Australia. The first was he would be different in office than he was on the campaign trail. The second was the best way to deal with him was to suck up to him.

Do not suck up to him. Show him — he’s transactional — that making the almost 80 million Americans who voted for VP Harris happy will be in his interest.

Our first opportunity to demonstrate that it’s in his interest to help make us happy is to show him how many 80 million Americans show up and demonstrate in Washington DC on January 20, 2025.

Diane K24: Exactly right.

You hit exactly the right tone and direction.

Kamala Harris did a phenomenal job with a mere 107 days to do two-years worth of work and she did it heroically.

Kamala Harris is still there to lead.

We can join and financially support groups.

My thought is the most vulnerable group is immigrants, and we should join and financially support groups that support immigrant rights and welfare.

In a word: Act on our convictions.

Nothing can convince me that voters lost this election. Smarter people than me, CIA intelligence has said that Putin was behind Trumps “win”.
