Life is too short and too hectic not to enjoy every single minute. So savor the moment, the flower, the weed, the person, the child, the animal, the place—lock these away for winter medicine.
Such gorgeous roses, Diane! We have an important election coming up in India next year too. I want to be hopeful about it, but honestly, things here feel a bit hopeless. Seeing the beauty here and the gentle sharing helps, though.
In a world where political discourse can become overwhelming, reading other Substack writers sounds like a valuable space for finding solace, inspiration, and a broader perspective on life. It's great to know that it will be accessible for free to those who subscribe. Thank you for this sharing Diane.

We have many wonderful Indian priests, doctors, chefs where I live. Keep the faith and focus on all the good gifts given✍️
That’s the only way forward, isn’t it? To focus on the gifts wherever we find them.
Indeed!

Thank you for the encouragement, Winston. I wish I had found your substack sooner. It’s really a good way to start mornings.
If we, the people, don’t take time to STOP, and smell the roses, we will be in a Dictatorship we can’t fix.
If we don’t go Democrat in ‘24, ‘26, ‘28, all in between and beyond, not only in our federal elections but our local, and state government offices.
If Republicans are elected in this next election, our free elections will be over.
It’s that simple.
Our ability of stopping and smelling the roses will be gone, forever!
Dedicated not educated! Don’t think we can educate a Substack!
